>>Welcome to the Fall 2016 Semester!
We at the CTFE wish you a great start to the new semester. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get feedback on an aspect of your course, please do not hesitate to contact us!

>>Legos for Learning!
Do you have Legos collecting dust at home? We are accepting donations in Johnson Center 241 now through September 14 of gently-used or new Legos to create collaborative active learning kits. Once available, faculty will be able to check them out to use with their students. Curious about how to use these in teaching college? Join us on September 16 for the Innovations in Teaching & Learning Conference (2016 Theme: Cultivating Creative and Reflective Learners) and the pre-conference workshop, to be held September 15, on Lego Serious Play led by keynote Alison James. Register here.

>>Register now for the INNOVATIONS in TEACHING & LEARNING (ITL) Conference!
Join us Friday, September 16, for a day of 30+ conference sessions led by Mason instructors that describe or demonstrate strategies, activities, and assignments that challenge students to embrace learning as a creative and reflective process. Breakfast, Lunch, and refreshments are included! Please see the conference page for more details and registration.
