Faculty Orientations & Faculty Refresh Workshops

CTFE has partnered with the Office of the Provost and Human Resources & Payroll to host Mason’s annual New Faculty Orientation. If you are a new full time faculty member at Mason, we encourage you to attend this two-day session for discussions about teaching and course design, mentoring students, resources for writing and research, and institutional programs and policies.

The 2016 New Faculty Orientation will be held on Monday, August 22, through Tuesday, August 23.

For returning Mason faculty, please join us for our Faculty Refresh Workshops on Tuesday afternoon (August 23). These interactive sessions have been designed to refresh your teaching, research, and writing. All sessions are open to members of the Mason educational community. Come with a friend or arrive ready to meet new colleagues with similar interests! Of note, please bring your laptop or mobile device, as some sessions have been designed to be hands on. Registration is not required.

If you are a NEW adjunct faculty member, please contact your department regarding the New Adjunct Faculty Orientation that will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
